Chance Enchantment Enhancement Chant

This months composing challenge was to use an irregular time signature. This song is in 5/4 time and the purple sparks SHOULD coincide with every beat if I timed it properly. 

With all the vocal sounds in the song I thought it sounded like a chant or ritual and that's when I came up the the name. To translate the title, it means that there is an opportunity to perform a ritual through chanting that will improve future enchantments. 

Gospel Choir is probably my favorite sound in most music other than mallet instruments so I really wanted to use it as a focal point in a lot of my music. I also experimented with brass since I don't use it very often because I didn't have the best tools for it until now. 

Working in 5/4 time was rough and I don't ever want to do it again. It was very difficult to make melodies because I would think of them in my head and they would just become normal time melodies. 

The really bombastic part in the middle and at the end were actually the first parts I made. I worked backwards from them since they worked so well as climaxes. 

The visuals were very fun to make, especially when I got the idea to make them appear on the celling during the big parts of the song. 

The structure of the song is A, B, C, D, C* The scale I used was mostly chromatic. 

The only notes I didn't use were C# and Bb and even then I might have used them and just not remembered. 

The tonic notes were A and E so that's what I would consider to be where the scales start.
